In the fourth grade I believe that the students need to start to take responsibitliy with letting families know what is going on. I do send out emails as well about once per month. Another great way to see what we are doing in school is to check out your student's Google Classroom page. Here you will see a basic outline for all the classes and what we are learning for that week. Your child will know how to access this.
Spelling is almost every week and the spelling words should also be written in their planners.
To help all of you get to know me a little I wanted to tell you a little about myself beyond the classroom.
I have a new little boy who was born June of 2018. My husband and I just adore him! He lights up our world and our priority outside of work is spending time as a family. We love to go camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with more family and friends.
I would also call myself a foodie. MMMMMMM I love to try new places and enjoy amazing food. I am very lucky that my husband is a phenomenal cook. He also just started a food truck called Rockstarr BBQ. Food is definitely a big part of our life.
I love to learn and am always interested in new ideas, places, cultures, and people. I hope I can pass this on to each one of my students.
I am very excited for this year and looking forward to getting to know each and every one of my students.
